The Ghana Football liaison team which is made up of Dr. Kofi Amoah and Oti-Akenteng had a meeting with GHALCA and club owners earlier this week and one of the outcomes of the meeting had to do with paying the salaries of the GFA workers despite their inactiveness.
This became the talk of town and reports emerged that the officials of the GFA had refused to accept the salary but Oti-Akenteng says it is untrue.
“It is untrue, Ghana football Association staffs have not rejected attempts by the government to pay their salaries for June,” Akenteng told Sikka FM
“It is just that the accountant needs time to deal with the CID who are currently in possession of computers which contains documents on salaries of staffs. It will take sometime before we settle everything”
Another injunction has been placed on the GFA and that shows the government's willingness to dissolve the entity.
