The Zone A league leaders Medeama endured a frustrating scoreline against Techiman Eleven Wonders who have adopted Nkoranza as their home grounds, as Aduana Stars beat Berekum Chelsea in Kumasi.

In Nkoranza, Muhazu Hardi opened scorings for Eleven Wonders in the first half against the Tarkwa based Medeama. Medeama through Matthew Essiam's strike drew level before the break. Midfielder Solomon Afriyie had other idea as he made sure Eleven Wonders picked the maximum three points at stake.

In Obuasi, AshantiGold came back from a goal down to beat Berekum Chelsea at the Carl Rindorf Park. Berekum Chelsea took an early lead through Braima Foster's 13th minute strike. Ashgold went into the break trailing Berekum Chelsea.

In the second half, Emmanuel Owusu drew parity with his 54th minute goal. He masterfully sent a low ball past Yussif Moro in post for Berekum Chelsea. The youngster scored on his competitive debut for Ashgold. In the dying embers of the game striker Richard Ela Djodi scored the winning goal to secure maximum three points for the miners.

In Kumasi, Aduana Stars hosted regional rivals Bechem United. The Dorma based Aduana Stars irrespective of playing in an adopted home grounds beat Bechem United through striker Yahaya Mohammed's 43rd minute goal. Fatau Abdul Rahman doubled the lead in the second half to give Bechem United no chance of "redemption"
