Outspoken veteran football administrator,Mr. Kofi Manu Blue Boy, has publicly endorsed the sacking of Ghana football Association vice president Mr.George Afriyie. The ace football administrator lauded the EXCO for their decision to fire Mr. George Afriyie from the veep position.
In an interview with kessben sports, Kofi Manu said Mr.George Afriyie failed to attend to duties whenever the president of Ghana football Association Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi travels outside to perform duties as CAF vice president and FIFA committee member. The Techiman Eleven Wonders CEO highlighted that Mr. George Afriyie was not available when CAF president Mr. Ahmed Ahmed visited Ghana and that's a bad attitude as a vice president and sacking him was the only option any Football Association will do.
The Ghana Football Association will do appointment to fill the vacant position with many names already popping up on the radar.
Mr. Kurt Okraku C.E.O of Dreams FC and Mr. Kojo Yankah from Western Region RFA are favourite to replace outgoing George Afriyie.
Any replacement for George Afriyie will be the fifth vice president under Kwesi Nyantakyi since taking power in 2005.
