Final Whistle Sporting Club started the second round of the Greater Accra Regional Division 2 league in style by thrashing ABU FC by 4 goals to 1 at the Bright Future Park, Amasaman on Saturday.

The hosts, Final Whistle started the game on the back foot as ABU FC came   charging out of the blocks. Their momentum paid off in the 19th minute after a mistake by defender, Allotey who was involved in a communication mishap with stand in goalie, Goerge Yireyi. The Final Whistle skipper was robbed off the ball by ABU FC forward, Owusu Nkebi who slotted into an empty net. 

Final Whistle rallied at this point and took total charge of the game with continuous piling of pressure on the ABU FC goal. The equalizer finally came in the 33rd minute after a Prince Boadi shot was was bundled in by a defender of the visitors. Final Whistle maintained  their hold on the game till the half time Whistle.                      

The second half was a baptisim of fire for the ABU FC defense with constant pressure from the Final Whistle attack. As quickly as the 4 minutes after the break, the hosts took the lead through forward, Richmond Adade who after being put through on goal, made no mistake to slot into the back of the net. Fina Whistle continued ramming on the pressure which paid off in the 56th minute through another fine shot by forward Adade who got a well deserved brace for his effort.                                  

At this juncture, with the 3 points secured, Final Whistle started whisking the ball about with the finesse and panache of a prime Barcelona. In the 69th minute, a long clearance from forward Andrew Okyere who thought he had mishit the ball, went straight into the Abu Fc goal with the visitor's goalkeeper, fluffing his line. The rest of the game was a walk as Final Whistle maintained their unbeaten stroll of Zone 4  of the Division 2  league.
