Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze joined Jay-Z's Roc Nation sports agency after Manchester United duo of Romelu Lukaku and Eric Bailly.
The 20-year-old has become one of the most popular Nigerian players, following his breakout season with Villarreal and his displays at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt where became the youngest player to score a goal at the tournament after scoring his side's first goal in their 2-1 win over South Africa at the quarterfinal stage.
Chukwueze becomes the first Nigerian and second African player to be signed on Jaz Roc Nations sports management agency after joining other big stars like Borussia Dortmund’s Axel Witsel, Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng and Manchester United duo, Lukaku and Bailly, on the list of football stars associated with the brand own by rap icon.
Chukwueze had a breakthrough season in the Spanish LaLiga last season with Villarreal, scoring five goals in 26 games but Nigerian winger is currently on an extended holiday and yet to join his Villarreal teammates for pre-season training after his recent international commitments. He will be hoping to be back in Javier Calleja's team ahead of their league opener against Granada on August 17.
